Materials

• 5.5 mm hook
• 1600g DK yarn in blue
• 200g DK yarn in White
• I used Ice Yarns Saver
• Yarn needle

• A length of (sturdy!) elastic that fits around your waist +2cm/1”
• Sewing needle and thread

Instructions

Waistband

(video tutorial)

Sew the elastic into a band with 1cm/ ½” seam allowance.

Ch 112 (120, 128, 136, 144), join with a sl st, ch 1, turn.

Round 1: sc around, join with a sl st, ch 1, turn 112 (120, 128, 136, 144)

Repeat round 1 until the piece measures twice the width of your elastic.

Fold the piece over the elastic and sc around, going through the stitches of the last row and the first row, creating a tube.

Do not finish off, continue to Skirt.
